Summer Road Trip 2017
We call this one our "All Over the Map"
Summer Road Trip. Here's the rundown:
MAY: Fly from Bangkok to Houston; visit
with mom. JUNE: Pause in Oklahoma City
and Wichita on the way to Golden, CO.
Spend a month at an Airbnb rental there
reconnecting with friends. (Continue
renting out Boulder condo.) JULY: Visit
Flaming Gorge before settling down in
Pocatello, ID for a month at an Airbnb
rental. Check out Craters of the Moon
and Idaho Potato Museum. AUGUST: Visit
Salt Lake City then head east towards
Maine. Along the way view the total solar
eclipse in Falls City, Nebraska. Stop to
see the Amana Colonies in Iowa. Visit
Cedar Point Amusement Park in Ohio for
two days of rollercoaster fun. Visit family
in PA and MA on the way to Bar Harbor.
This is what "not traveling" looks like to us these days!
It's about as close as we get to sitting still.
