| We traveled by bus and train through Portugal. Starting in Santiago de Compostela in Spain, we took a bus to Braga then Guimaraes (the "Birthplace of Portugal"). A week later we took a local train to Porto, pausing for a look around, then continued on a fast Alfa Pendular train to Lisbon, where we boarded a commuter line to nearby Sintra. After five days we returned to Lisbon. Two days later we flew out of Lisbon airport to Dublin. |
